Can i mix RD RAM?

is it possible to mix rdram modules on one bank without any problems? eg 1x128 mb infineon and 1x128 mb samsung

You might be able to get away with it, but more often than not, it causes problems.

they have to be exactly the same speeds when together, so if one company has a slight varient it could cause a wee error-

may I ask why them two - surely you would buy just two of the same make rather than shop around for two different makes...

I sold one infineon ram and the buyer has now the problem that his combination of samsung and infineon won't work.
