Do OEM video cards come with the drivers? And if not, it's not much different to downlaod the drivers than to use the ones of the disc anyway, is it? The main reason I ask this is that I want to know if without the video card drivers I'll get an image at all on the monitor. Help!

almost 100% of the time yes, they come with drivers. If u buy a old used VC u may not get drivers.

But, even retail VC comes with outdated drivers. Its always best to download the latest drivers on anything.

www.driversplanet.com a great place to find drivers if u need them.

Normally you will get a cd with the oem cards. Don't worry your card will work without the drivers. Windows has a standard display adapter that works with all cards. Then you can go online and download the drivers for your specific card.

And Welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the reassurance both of you. I'm definately going to get my vid card OEM now.
