Hercules 3D Prophet 8500 128MB..good or bad??

I just picked up a Hercules 3D Prophet 8500 128. It should be here by monday. I got it for $151. What do you think of the price? The Ram on the board is BGA and from what I hear is 3.3ns. If you have the card please let me know how it overclocks and if it came with the 3.3ns BGA ram.. If I get 3.6ns I'm going to be very upset. :mad: thanks in advance..

I wasn't able to get any info in the card from anyone I know or did I find more than 1 review for it.. If you know of any on-line reviews, please post the links..

I do know you could have bought a Gigabyte Pro Radeon 8500 64 DDR for $86 from www.adamant.com and I have heared good things about them.

For what you paid you may have considered a 64 Ti4400 or a Ti4200 in 64 or 128 flavour, even though I prefer ATI cause they are priced better and perform almost as well , maybe lagging 5-10% ....to me that is not worth the extra cost for my use.

yeah I have a Radeon 8500 already, and I know the card is great, also I know it has a lot of potential. All it needs is higher clock speeds. So the on I order from what I heard comes with 3.3ns DDR in BGA format.. also 128MB not 64MB.. that was the selling point for me. Yeah I know I could have gotten a 64MB G4 ti 4200 for $148 shipped.. but I rather have the 128MB... call me crazy.. it's just that I hope all the cards come with 3.3ns BGA..

keep us posted if you get 3.3 BGA ram, will be sweet if it is fer sure
