My ambient temp is 29*C.

Its not fair...
My room just has to be 10*F hotter than the rest of the house...

And the air conditioner is right above my head... I am about 2 feet from it.. yet it purely heats my room up...

like i thought. it is now 12.3C

my cpu full load temp is 28C. :D
and it's only going to get colder.

i just checked my log from MBM and the lowest the cpu got down to last night was 24. which would put the ambient temp around 9-10C.

Mines 45C for cpu.

My MBM says 40C. That seems a little high for watercooling dont you guys think?

Depends on the ambient temp.

If it is 35C in your room, your not too bad, but if it is 20C in your room you could have some problems.

25.6C room temp
26.6C case temp
27.2C mobo temp
29.9C video card
40.1C cpu temp (idle)
47.3C cpu temp (under prime for hours)

Room temp is about 26C. So 40 cant be all that bad then.

my ambient is hot as hell because the air conditioning barly works back here and my computer generates soo much heat.

During the day here it's in the upper 20°C's. That was last time I checked and it wasn't as hot as it is now. I'm guessing it's in the low 30°C's by now, and bound to be rising until late September/early October.

Man, some of you fools live/work in hot conditions. As soon as it gets north of 26 C, I turn up the air conditioning.

Using EZTune 4 (Gigabyte's bus clocking utility) I read my system ambient at 46C, most likely through my Antec True 430 PSU, and the CPU reads off at 49C.

Today I spent about 3 hours re-cabling my PC to get some better ventilation, and I'm sure if you saw pics that you would agree that the airflow is not very restricted at all, but I'm still getting these high temps in an Antec Performance Pro.

There are currently 7 80mm fans:
- 2 right below the PSU blowing out (Coolermaster Clear Blue LCD fans - )
- 1 Antec Smartfan in the side panel blowing out
- 1 Antec Smartfan in the lower front fan holder, blowing in
- 1 Antec Smartfan in the drive cage, blowing across two WD80JB's
- 2 Antec PSU fans, sucking from bottom and blowing out rear (not quite well either for the size and the power available to them)

Heat sources:
2 WD80JB's (RAID 0)
WD40BB (Man is this thing loud, but holds Linux)
Athlon XP 2100+ Palomino with Vantek CCK 6040 (All copper with a 37.6CFM fan)
Adaptec SCSI card
GeForce2MX (fan cooled, but it's soo teensie)
Antec True 430
KT333 Chipset, no fan.

It feels about 70F in here about now.

Yes the case has been dusted recently and often, since I have two cats.

Why do you suppose the high temps?

This got way too long, sorry to bore.
