one last thing, on rounded IDE is there a difference in the copper ones as compared to the others? other than the price?

It's a great fan. One of the most recommended on the boards. It seems to be the best medium noise high volume fan out there. I have 3 or 4 of them in my case.

I found that it was still a bit loud for my taste, so I did the 7 volt mod on it and added more fans to make up for the loss in flow.

yes I run that fan on my ax-7 h/s and its great, not too noisy but moves alot of air. The sound deadening mat is good for noise but its also good insulation keeping some heat inside your case. Not so much a big deal in a steel case but in aluminum cases thats one reason for buying em cause supposedly they will dissipate some heat just by transfering it through the case so the mat will lessen this effect requiring more fans for more cfm to get rid of the heat. The rounded cables are mostly looks, gold, silver any color of the rainbow doesnt affect how they work just how they look.:burn:

I also have a sunron on my ax7 and one in my case. I can say they are great fans. Not too loud either.
