Heh, thank goodness y'all know everything, eh? Got a new system, and lost the driver CD for my HP Photosmart 215 digicam. I was able to find a driver online, so my computer recognizes the HP 215 as such and there are no driver conflicts. Alls I need is a software solution that will allow me to get the pics off of the actual camera. Any ideas? Oh, and I've tried WIA; all that gives me is an error that says I don't have a digicam.

What OS r u running? With WinXP you donīt need any software to download the pics from the cam!

Yeah, I'm running XP Pro. When I plug in my cam, though, all I get is a noise acknowledging that the device is plugged in. My understanding was that XP uses Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) to get pics from cams, and so I tried running the only WIA exe I could find (c:\windows\system32\wiaaccmgr.exe), and got an error message saying I didn't have a digicam, which I do, and that I should add it in on control panel, where it already shows up.
Is there another way I should know about?
Did you try simply clicking on your camera in My Computer? What''s wrong with HP cameras? I have a Photosmart 318.
