The company I work for is getting ready to replace the water fountains in the lobby. I talked to the maintenance crew and they told me I could have one of the water fountains. I was just wondering, could these be used effectively for case or CPU cooling? I believe it is a closed freon system, I really would like to know if this would be worth trying. I'm kind of new to the water cooling, or liquid cooling and I don't know really what to expect. Any input would be greatly appreciated. The water fountain is one that is mounted to the wall, and is fairly small, not the big square ones.

Thanx

It's been done. I will try and find the URL.

SurlyJoe (now DR. Surlyjoe!) did something like this about a year ago. I think he might have the article posted by now at http://www.spodesabode.com . It will give you some nice ideas (like how to leave room for a couple of beers) to ponder.
