hey guys im running windows xp pro and i have a geforce 4 MX420 is this a ok card??? anyways windows gave me one msg saying its causeing instability then i never got the msg whats the deal with that shoudl i i try new drivers or what cause im trying to get my damn dvd to work its only a 10x but all the softrware i been using seems to suck any suggestions guys???? i sjut want a smooth running movie thats all heheh

r u sayin that ur movie is stuterin in between? if so then:
go to task manager by pressin ctrl+alt+del and then go to processes and then start ur dvd. when ur playin ur dvd see if any of the processes besides the dvd one r usin the computer.
hey theres like 10,0000 processes goin which ones do i need to keep on and which ones can be terminated i knwo on liek windows 98 u use to be able to go to run and type in that command to choose what starts up?????? but im on xp pro im so lost

u can still use the msconfig command by going to start menu and then run and then type the following: msconfig
cool cool what do u suggest is the best way to set that up liek i rember on windows 98 there was certain things u didnt need to have running???

What software are you using to play your DVD movies?
Give us a run-down on your system, i.e, processor, motherboard, etc. Are you overclocked? You Nvidia driver may be crashing as a result of your AGP bus being too high. Like Mos asked, what software are you using? Have you tried any other software to play your movies, or just that one?
