XP problem

My wife noticed a problem before I did???? She was playing solitare and every time she would win the computer would restart. I tracked it down to a graphics card driver error. (i had catalyst 2.2 and went back to the 2.1's) Any way here is my problem. Ever since then when i restart my computer i get mini dump errors. It gives me a system error message and then tries to report it to microsoft. Somone one help me if you can. I am using xp pro.

Yes did you check Microsoft for undated drivers for you video card? You should try that first if they don't have them go to the manufactors website. Some video cards will not work with xp just like some sound cards won't.

Thanks I think I got it fixed. Ran defrag and delelted all my temporary files and did not get the message again!!!!!!!
