A PAL6035 will work fine without modification. The PEP needs a mod to fit that board. The PEP is also heavier. The PEP may have a slight performance edge.

when you say "without modifacation" does that mean it wont need a fan???????????????

Normally it lays with the fan parallel to the board which won't fit for you. it needs to be modified with a pair of tin snips to stand upright.

I ordered an alpha 6035 with the sunon fan a couple of days ago. I have the Abit Kt7 Raid mb and a 650 Duron itching to hit 1.1 ghz. I only have stock hsf on it now and it's hitting 53°C, but I've ordered the alpha and a 120mm fan to be a top vent to cool the entire case. I'll let you know how easy it was to install the 6035.

I compared both on a Pentium running 1GHz, and I preferred the PAL. It was 2-3 C cooler and no mod reqiured
