i just got my leufkin direct die cooling block and attatched a
156W pelt to it and added a 4 pin thingy.

my PSU is a 430W true power antec.
it puts out 36A on the 5volt, 20A on the 12volt, and 28 and the 3.3
i plugged it in for about 15 seconds and snapped this pic of my
voltages to just test it.

they look fine to me, what do yall think?? i'm only powering
2 120mm deltas at 7V, 1 hdd, and the mobo + cards, so not a lot.
is my PSU gonna be good enough to handle the pelt + system?
i hope this pelt can handle 100W of heat. should it perform better
sense actual water is running on the hot side?
thanks!
I hope you had some way of cooling thepelt when you did that.
The 3V line looks awful low, other okay.
Is leufkin alive and well???

wymjym: Epox's 3.3v is weird, the 8KHA+ reported like that too.
Anyways Starfox, I don't know whether it'll take it since I'm assuming you're at idle and your 12v rail is 11.80v and it may drip to like 11.50v at load and cause problems during games etc..

cool
i believe all antecs can let you tweak the 12v higher...open up your PSU and move both POTs you find in it untill your voltages are perfect....5V and 12V....
whyd you get a 156vatt pelt? the first rule of pelt cooling is that.....you use twice the power wattage pelt for the amount of wattage to be handled...that is...if you want subzero....so that'll mean you would like need a 226watter

yeah really the top of that pelt will be around like 80C with your water cooling on it

oh well, my XP fried (mom did it!!) lol, so i gotta sell all of my
watercooling stuff to replace it. hopefully with a 2400+
glad i had a duron as a backup.
i don't thin it would've taken the heat load well, but maybe sense
the blocks unique design allows water to run on the actual pelt,
it would have been cooled better and worked more effeciently.
oh well....

XP's run 72W max output at stock, btw.
just got my leufkin direct die cooling block and attatched a
You go bro!!!!! Yeah that bad boy looks nice!! Is that direct cooling block some new design? I had ordered some water cooling parts from Leufken several months ago but I don't remeber seeing that particular design. Give us some temp info bro!!!!!!!
