KK266r,
10k adjustable resistor,
This mod, (http://www.vr-zone.com/guides/IWill/KK266/)

BOOM!!! Vcore @ 2.45v! That is in BIOS before MB shuts itself. I have to go out now but I will install MB in the case and search for some conductive grease tommorrow to unlock my 1600+ ( the Nickel trace repair dries too fast to effectively paint the bridges and I killed my test chip).

WOOT!!!

Colin- :)

Skiing Squirrel- there are 2 methods with the KK266, involved and not involved. I chose the not involved route.

CrystalMethod- I only had to solder one small point. It was easy the first time... It kinda broke off while I was stabilizing the wire with some zipties. I tell you the second time was very hard as I could never get a good tight wrap on the wire I was using. Eventually I got it. Then I redid it cause it looked frail. But now I have it set good. The wire for soldered to the MB is ziptied to a cap near the soldering. And the main wire (cut up USB cable) is ziptied a few CMs away from that on some plugs. It is now a very good sturdy setup.

Also I coudl have used some grabbers, but they cost $5.98 locally. The solder was free :) And the MB was long out of warranty (even though I bet Iwill would take it anyway).

NoKtEm- I have many copper and aluminum HS. Not the very best but for testing I can cool my room down (even on hot days. I just have to sacrifice TV to keep from tripping the breaker) to the 60s farenheit. I have an assortment of fans ranging from 2,000 rpm to over 8,000rpm. I also have 120mm Delta fans which I can overvolt to 24v :) but doing that burns the motor and makes my room smelly.

I also have a not in use water rig. I dont have and good pelts so that is the one thing I dont have. And once I get me some $$$ I will convert a dehumidfier i have to a water chiller :)

Check my sig for a link to a very cool 1800+ on air.

I will post some pics tommorrow. time for bed.

The not involved route is the way to go then! Too bad I have an MSI kt3 ultra. I havent seen any volt mods with them.

I did the volt mod on my IWIll XP333. And I love having over 2V on the core. The cool thing the XP333 is that it has the same chip as the Abit KT7A!!! SCORE!!!

Alright, I posted a question on the thread, but its not looking that lively, so I might not get my answer. Hope I do though.
