Hey folks,
As you've probably noticed, my main folding effort has gone over to team 93. There are several reasons that I've done this. I won't go into the sub-team part as I don't want to cause any problems on team 32 among the team members about sub-teams. Also, with How??? down at rage3d, there doesn't seem to be any real excitement of a race between teams as OC.com seems to be able to consistantly outproduce rage3d by 4000-6000 points per week. However, at Icrontic, my 300 points or so per week seem to be a lot more helpful as they are in a battle, moving up the ranks. We just passed 2 teams in 1 day last week (amdmb and alliance francophone) and are up to 8th place overall now. Plus icrontic has now ramped up production enough to be outproducing everyone except the top 4 teams, even google! They are a fairly small team but have people dedicated to the F@H project, just like here.
I still have the 2-K6 rigs at my brother's house that I'm leaving folding for team 32. I just got him a hub today so the second K6 rig can get back online turning in work.
Sorry I haven't had a chance to post before but I was at work for 2 weeks and then I went on vacation for a week.
Something else you guys might want to start up is a map showing the locations of your fellow team mates. Icrontic just got one going recently and it's way cool. This is a link to the thread (http://www.icronticforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=34340) at Icrontic on the map and this is the link to the map itself. (http://home.nyc.rr.com/kwitko/fah_us_can.htm) So far, it's just the US and Canada, but they are talking about making a world map too. Run your pointer over the state/province name and the people listed in that state, along with their zip codes, will pop up.
If the battle between rage3d and overclockers.com starts up again(How??? gets back to folding in a big way), I will switch some more rigs back here.
Fold on!
