Sorry Guys, I had to repost this as I have not gotten a reply back on the other one i posted 3-4 days ago.. I know that somebody here know what this problem might be, we'll atleast i hope somebody does!!

Recently, after purchasing my chaintech AG441 Geforce4MX 64mb DDR with s-video out video card, replacing my old msi starforce 817 Geforce2 MX, my system (Win98 boot) seemed a bit laggy, but my winxp boot is all ok. When I click on the nvidia Control panel, to access the opengl menu, It freezes for like 10 seconds where I cant move mouse or anything, D3d panel, 3d antialiasing works fine, but nview, opengl, overlay and desktop utilities panels all seem to freeze my comp for around 10 seconds before actually showing the window. I am using the nvidia 30.82 reference drivers and using via 4 in 1 4.42(a)p2 drivers. This also happens to me in winxp (installed on the same machine) using the same drivers.

This happens whether the video card is overclocked or not and the prog I use for o/cing is coolbits.

All Games that Ive got that uses opengl/d3d games all work fine, we'll atleast I think they do.. Ive tried unreal, unreal tournament, quake III Arena, FF8, FF7, Mechwarrior 3 and 4 and aquanox and other d3d/opengl titles, and they all work fine..

Anyone else here getting the same problem or may know whats causing this problem and a fix for it??
