whats the general temp limits on this chip?
only think i can seem to find is 90 C and i'm not near that so am i ok?
oh yeah cpu overclocked to 600 and stable so far at the mentioned temps but i don't want to burn it out..

I think your temps are a little high, but not that bad.
I think as long as you are under 65c at full lode you should be fine.
you might need better cooling yet see what happens.
90c is about where your chip will fry...I think it could be more likely 80c.
anyway, I hope you get more replys since I just cant remember what the true specs are for the P3 450.

you're in the 50 C, should be okay.. But if it's a hot day, you might be getting too hot

50C is hot but acceptable. I would not let it go higher than that though. I know slot coolers are true PITA's as far as removal/replacement goes, but bear it in mind anyway.
Specs are around 85C for maximum temp a PII can handle, but it will get unstable long before that. If you experience a lot of crashes, it's overclocked too high.
