Hi there

I have a 1.2Ghz Tbird running @ 1463Mhz 24/7 reliable, it can run @ 1475Mhz with a lower room temp.
I want 1500Mhz+. I shall not mention what cooler I am using as I want your views first please, money is not a problem, I want the best air cooling available.

What is the best Heat Sink & fan combo please?

Hi m8

Well, I run 24/7, and I know a TEC and watercooling rig would give me nice results but don't want to go that far.
I still don't feel to brill about leaving my PC running 24/7 with water running around it, and I cannot afford a vapochill case or whatever they are.

I just want the best air cooling solution.

Thanks

I really like alpha's products, and am currently using a pal 6035, however if money is no issue, then I would at this point try the coolermaster 462. It seems to be the best design for TBirds to date.

Good luck

I would go with a swifttech model, they seem to work quite weel. My friend got one for his duron, and its running @ a gig no problem. Case cooling also helps alot, but in a couple of fanz.

I highly recommend the Swiftech MC-462A. It is "The Boss" in air cooling. It is running my Duron 600@1000 right with a 10 deg differential over the case temp and that's with the fan throttled way back. It has plenty of capacity to handle whatever the future will bring us. However, if price is not an issue, I concur with one of the previous respondents that Water Cooling is the way to go.
