Connecter to chip BURSTED!!!

yep.. this is sort of a continuim to the 128mb stick acting up..

anyways 4 metal pins that connect to the ram to the circutry in the ram actually BURST from heat.. it burst so far it covered almost most the circutry shorting them out.

i will get pics of it asap... anyways has anyone else had this happen?

btw the ram is azen 128mb stick using spectek chips.. so not like its worth a whole lot anyways

lol neither did i, thats what u get for running cheap pc133 ram at 2.5- all on 150 fsb with a 40cfm fan sucking air from a heatsink on a 1400 tbird making the case even hotter :D

How on earth did you get cheap PC133 stable at 150 with CL 2.5?!?

luck of the draw i guess.. right now i got a 256 and a 128 running at 148 2.5 :)
