I want to w/c my rig with had a celeron 1.2 @1.55 on1.6V currrently, to move to 1.675V and 1.6GHz+ on water.

given that the amount ot heat here is well below that knoocked out by unclocked XPs and P4s, is ther any point buying overspeced WC parts.

Accordingly would a 1046 pump the www.aquacomputer.de kit which uses 1/4 tubing an 1/8thread attachments be appropriate for this sort of rig. Oh and is there any point putting a waterblock on a i815 northbridge?

Many thanks, Risky.

If you want a good cheap pump go for a Via Aqua1300, they're a lot cheaper than Eheims and have served many people well around these parts.
You can find them at www.aquastealth.com

When you buy your parts for your watercooling setup, don't just get them to be adaquate for your current rig, think about your next rig. When you do eventually move to your next mobo and CPU, you don't want to have to go buy a new waterblock, and maybe a new rad too, do you?

I am going watercooling too, on my tualatin. A MAZE3-1 from dangerden fits it too (with a homemade clamp), but it will also be good enough for my next rig, most likely a hammer.

Make sure you think of the present as well as the future before you buy, and will save yourself some money.

Maybe, though I way well want to keep this rig and start anew at some point. A compormise setup uses www.heatkiller.de kit which takes 1/4 fittings and defulats to the largere Legris setsup (3/8 equivalent)
