Is there away to get it to transfer at 100mb\s or not ???

Are you having a problem connecting at 100 or are you having trouble transferring at 100?
If you are having trouble connecting at 100, then go to the Advanced Properties of the NIC and make sure that it isn't set for 10meg or half duplex.
If you are having problems transferring at 100, keep in mind that network connections are no different than modem connections. 8 bits per byte.

You are confusing MegaBytes and MegaBits.
Your network connection is either 10 or 100 MegaBits per second.
When you store stuff on your hard drive, it's MegaBytes.
8 bits = 1 byte
So, the fastest you can transfer at 100MegaBits/second is 12.5 MegaBytes/second.

also, 4 bits = 1/2 byte = nybble :)
