XP2800+ By September?
It seems about right since it would be right to have a model 2800+ to stack up against a Pentium4 2.8GHz PC. Running at 2.26GHz, the XP2800+ could dish out some AMD loving as long as we get an nForce2 in our hands.
If AMD doesnt dis-own us again like with the XP2100+ for several months then we should see a XP3000+ by Christmas.
Now, its time to see some benchmarks using nForce2 with Dual Channel DDR400 CL2. That would be sewweeet!

The Intel P4 will have a new stepping (C1 I think) and perhaps overclock to 3.3-3.5gigs and the AMD Steppings will develop and it'll overclock and mhz means nothing in AMD land and it may just take over AMD ;)
Will the nForce 2 offer fixed PCI/AGP Bus? If that happens the T-Bred will be smoking with better ram support to add to it's bandwidth at high FSBs.

fixed as in the 1|1 divider? I think thats the godlike feature of the nForce which means that all PCI/AGP is always in spec no matter what FSB you desire!
Even at like 450MHz FSB, your PCI will be 33.3MHz, just too good to pass :)

Yea that's it. The Asus A7N266's had the fixed PCI/AGP.

That's Tom's SS. I wouldn't get references from there. That took 2.2v and that is just a post no screenshot in Windows or nothing.
they said it was only stable at 2666 i think
