I have the extra room in my case for a second BIX rad and wanted to put two of the 190cfm 120mm deltas http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/delffb1212eh.html on it in push/pull.
I would wire these fans to a switch and just turn them on when i want too. The noise wont bother me(entire case used to be delta cooled). I have a eheim 1250 for a pump. Do you think this would make a difference in my temps? Or could my pump even do this without loseing too much flow?
I have a maze3 and a BIX rad right now with a panaflow 86cfm on it.

How were you planning on adding the second rad to your setup? Series is the only way that seems reasonable to me if you're only planning on running the fans part time... if you set it up parallel you'd have half of your water cooled passively when the Deltas are off, and that's no good.

It would be in series.

Well, series might work, though it'd hurt your flowrate. Of course, you'd have to do some trial and error to get the order of the rads correct, though I bet that you'd get your best results with the Delta rad first and the other one second.

Why don't you just go with one rad and those Deltas, and simply reduce their speed when you don't need the extra cooling? I bet that's really the best solution here.

measure your water temps, if they're around ambient already it can't help you to add another rad.

I already have the rad(it was free from friend that gave up watercooling). Maybe ill just put a delta on each and have something that can change them between 7v and 12v. The rad it just sitting here and its burning a hole in my head i need to do something with it.:p
