whats the performance difference between the MX400 and the MX400 with DDR ram? i'm guessing it's about a 25% difference but i would like a few opinions from you guy's/girl's.

PS. it's for my uncle, he was going to get the GF2 GTS-V 32MB but they sold out before he ordered. he's not an overclocker or a heavy gamer but he want's to play MOHAA, RTCW and Morrowind. doesn't care about max quality but wan'ts the games playable.

and for the record, i'm going to order a Gainward Ti4200 64MB golden sample next month. no more MX's for me.

there should theoretically be no difference at all. the bandwith for the sdram is 128bit, yet the ddr in this case can only be 64bit therefore negating the double data rate advantage.

so the DDR ram on it is basically a marketing tool? that's kinda deceptive. o well, i'll talk him into a GF3Ti200 then. thanks Maxvla.
PS. didn't you use that avatar already? lol
