Though I might steal the LCD from my ancient p75 laptop and use it as a LAN party display (light) Anyone have a guide to modding the cable so it will plug into a standard vga plug?

Odds are its probably a serial LCD. Check here (http://www.crystalfontz.com/forum/) for some links to diagrams and programs you can use to get it up and running.

I guess this idea isnt going to work, because I am not an electrical engineer, and Im not going to plunk down a couple hundred to run an LCD thats worth maybe $25. Thanks for the help though guys.
