View Full Version : are this scores good for a 8500le
i just got it today so i hadn't formatt or anything i just deleted my nvidia drivers or omegas. i intall the cat. 2.2 drivers and ran 3dmark2k1 everything stock cpu and video it ran a 8099 straight from the box. then i 275/275 and i got 8484. then @144 and 250/250 i got 8460 all this is w/o frag or format are this good scores?????
ps how high can i o/c it w/ stock cooling?

scores seem about right... you can go up to 275/275 and know your card will last as long as it would if it were clocked at 250/250... Now you can go up to 300/300 which is the highest I've heard someone run there card with stock cooling.. one other person at 310/310 but that's rare.. I'd shoot for 295/295..
it came w/ 3.6 ram is this good

3.6ns is pretty good. That's what the retail non-LE cards have. It should be alright up to about 300 on clock speed, although I usually run at stock 275/275. 300/300 is fairly common even without extra cooling, but I'd back it down from that for normal use.
What did you use to tweak it?
