Need help memory won work like it used to

Hey i used to able to run my memory on 190 fsb i still can


and on 180 fsb i used to ableto turn turbo mod on no probs now it wont. only on low fsb like 133 or 150

My duron 1.2 on 176 fsb works fine with turbo and so did my xp but now the xp doesnt but the duron still does

wierd ehh could this be my cpu or ram ?

i remember it started to do this my old bios chip died so i got a new one with the 1011 bios and now i cant do turbo mod it just sites thier so what could be wrong what did asus do in that bios that i need to change to get turbo working again.

Have you overvolted for long? If so, you may have toasted the memory. As for why it works ok with a Duron and not with the XP, I can't say for sure, but perhaps the XP stresses the memory more (uses more bandwidth). Not too sure about it though.

On many boards setting it to turbo will cause stability issues, try setting aggressive timings manually. What xp cpu are you using and what is the stepping? How much vdimm were you feeding it?

well i treid a diff stick of ram (extra 256 pc 2700 ) and still no turbo , i wasnt overvolting the ram cuss i never needed 2 i think this new 1011 bios is the culpritt cuss it never used to do this on 1006

the cpu is a xp 2000+ and the stepping is AGOIA (Y)
