hey guys iv been trying for ever to get more outa my xp 2000+ i want to overvolt the thingy but i cant out how ne way ,

First i got this 5 gallon bucket no raid sure it works great but the water gets hot after a while so i take my cheap rad i got from dangerden a black ice, and rigg it to my room fan lol works great the water doesnt get as hot but still the temp doesnt go down but 2 c ....

My firend has a mini fridge he will give me would this fix my predicamint ? bye putting the 5 gal in the fridge on the rad in the freezer ? how much a temp diff do u think it would make and hot much more mhz could i get ???

With ice in the bucket i can get 1980 mhz if the temps stays around 20c and below anyhigher and its unstable , so with this mini fridge how far down in temp do u think it would go ? My current temps are 37 idle and 42- 44 load Remember this is a on die reading more accuret so they may seem high but this aint no socket prob guys...

Any help would be appriciated like suggestions on what to do with a mini fridge or how to cool my rad better i want to be higher than 1900 mhz im using 1.90 vcore do u think more would hurt the cpu any?? say like 2.0 or 2.1

sorry about the suck things i ment such things lol it wont let me change even tho i click on edite and change it it wont

Put a condencer unit in the fridge- )a couple of copper coils) run the water threw those and it will act as a chiller -- look at www.overclockers.com for the artical under watercooling where the guy does this-

umm watch for condesation tho even putting just ice in the bucket with 20c it would be possible to get condesation

dont put the bucket in the mini fridge you just asking to get screwed that way. if you going to do it you need to build a chiller with that small compressor you not going to get the best resuls but you will get some pretty nice ones if done correctly.

What about using a mini fridge and a 226watt pelt. What kinda temp to you think a person could get then.

I have a fridge setup. I had a thread about it a while ago when I was still into overclocking.

You'll have to do a lot of insulation work, like I did. It's a lot of work but its worth it. I have had only one condensation incident and that's from the water from my block dripping onto my Geforce3 Ti500... The problem has been fixed since then.

Also, another thing to consider about mini fridges is that if there is too much heat and the compressor has to keep running, you'll end up burning out the compressor. Fridges are designed to keep things cold, if you have a constant heat source (CPU), you might end up frying your fridge from over running to compressor. The best thing to do is put a fan on the condensor (radiator in the back of fridge). Hopefully this helps. I haven't been to this forum in months and I'm still kinda shaky on some info.
