Help

When i installed my PAL6035 on Friday, I was getting idle temps of 46C. Since then, it has been steadily getting warmer. Right now, my idle temp is 50C! I could run SETI with it before and get around 50C and now it's at 52C, maybe higher. Why would I be having this problem? Please Help! Thanks in advance.

Check to see you don't have to much thermal grease, then take the heatsink off and put it back on, it may not be seated right and could slowly be worsening its position.

Too much thermal grease can really be a problem. When I first got my Alpha PAL I put what I thought was a thin layer of artic silver on it but the temps were too high (I thought) I wiped it all off and put a much thinner coat on and my temps dropped 3-4 degrees.
