Surfin' with XP..

Is it just me or does XP seem a little slower, sluggish while surfin' the net?

Are there any "specific" tweaks, things I need to turn off, in XP for faster response on the net?

Ya, I did the blackviper tweaks..
It just seems a little slower than w2k which is slower than 98..

I think it has to do with IE6 being slower than the previous versions. When I surf on my 98SE box with IE5, it is a lot faster. The added features in IE6 make it more bloated, which slows it down, but also make it a better browser, IMO. So it's a catch22 kinda thing...

Alot of my friends have had some bad problems with IE6 I wouldnt recommend it.
