Well im gonna get a 4200, what do you all think is the best make to get? i was thinking of leadtech, or MSI, gainward??

msi. my 4400 rocks. i would guess the 4200's would be pretty similar.

i dont think it matters at all, i have a cheesy powercolor doing 11,500

you also have a watercooled xp1600 at almost 2ghz. thats where your score is getting boosted.

but i really dont think it matters too much,

maybe one will have better cooling than the other etc but no major differences IMO
they all got the same chip with the same choice of drivers

back to video cards though, arent there a couple that have ram sinks and the works?

My ABIT Siluro 64MB Ti4200 hit 620MHz on the memory as the max stable speed. Keep in mind though that this is with no cooling on the RAM so once I apply my RAM heatsinks I'll be able to do 630 without crashing and possibly hit 640MHz(or even 650! ;) ). The only thing thats on the card is a Dynatron skived aluminum fin CPU heatsink. The core hasnt been maxed out at 315MHz(i keep the clocks sync'd so I'll run into limits faster) but there really isnt any point overclocking it that far because of my CPU.


The ABIT is also cheaper
