XP config save errors?!

WEll I got a dual system so this may be part of the problem but here it is....when I set things in XP like to hide certain items in the taskbar like always hide/never hide/hide when inactive...Then when I put digital Vibrance on and click "load these settings on startup"...and then put the mic volume to low...and other basic things like that

When I restart none of my settings got saved?! I have reinstalled 3 times due to other errors but this is a persisting error and is really getting annoying to change all those settings every time I boot up....

Any ideas?

my system

Dual Athlon MP 2000+
1GB RAM
20GB C drive(operating system) 130GB D drive(everything else)

Crazy, I was just logging on to post the exact same question. :p The digital vibrance bit, specifically. It's driving me nuts. No dually, either, jus' a plain ol' single processor system.

Specs, if they'll help:

Abit KR7A-133
Athlon XP 1800+
768MB PC2100 DDR
60GB Maxtor 7200RPM
Assorted other components

Any guesses?

also dosen't liek to save when I move items on my desktop around...it gets kinda annoying....plus without the digital vibrance XP looks plain dull...but WITH digital vibrance everything is so...so...so pretty:p to I ahve to turn it on everytime I start up winblows:rolleyes:

Okay, the new drivers from nVidia fixed the digital vibrance problem. Don't know what to tell you about the other stuff, but that's all that was troublin' me. :)
