Upgrade question

Hi all,
i relly need an advice for this: i have a PIII1200 Tualatin and a Asus TUSL2-C with 512MB SDRAM.
I think to upgrade my system to P4 1.6A 512K and Asus P4B266-E and 512MB DDRAM 2100
Do you think this upgrade is good ? Right now i can oc my cpu @1440Mhz and my system is working just fine.

I really see no reason for you to upgrade at all if everything is working fine. Plus you still have enough horsepower to play any game out right now.

If your really set on upgrading though, wait till after labor day(American Holiday) in one week, because Intel will be lowering prices. Or if you can put off a while, I would wait intill we start seeing the new P4 steppings. I believe the stepping will be C1.

If you're going with a DDR system get faster memory than 2100. You probably should reseach that a little more but the Corsair 3200 XMS is supposed to be good. Also, at this point I'd get the 1.8a over the 1.6a, but if you can afford it and want a 3+ gig overclock, you'll need one of the new C1 stepping 2.5, 2.6, 2.66, or 2.8 CPUs.
