can someone tell me what formula to use in figuring out what the ddr setting is for memory? I am a little confused when I read some of the different threads, thanks
base speed X 2 x 64 / 8 = available bandwith
(Note this was ripped off the sdr and ddr specifications post, just made easier to understand)

The terms that apply to DDR can be confusing. Basically, it can be called DDR 200, DDR 266, DDR 333, etc. That is the speed of the ram...
Also, it can be labeled by the bandwith, where you multiply the speed by 8 bytes (more or less). That is all there is to it.
DDR 200 is PC 1600 = (8 Bytes x 200MHz)
DDR 266 is PC 2100 = (8 Bytes x 266MHz)
DDR 333 is PC 2700 = (8 Bytes x 333MHz)
