Abit KT7A-RAID + Alpha PAL6035 w/Delta 38cfm fan

oh yeah...and a duron 850, if it makes any difference.
will this combination fit on this motherboard?

Also...are there any better heatsinks than this...noticeably better?
And if so...where to find them cheapest in the USA.

Yes, that combo will fit on that board. I have one myself and it fits fine. Some people like the FOP better bet I think it's just a matter of personal preference. They both work about the same.

A simple, effective and budget cooler is the GlobalWin FOP and an 80mm fan. See my post titled "FOP + 80mm fan = LUV" for details.

I tried for about two hours to get that bloody 80mm fan on to the fop38 by bending the metal clips, but i couldnt, all I ended up with was bent clips and a bent and scratched heatsink. I really did try as well, used a pair of pliers and everything. But to no avail. Is there some technique I should use to get this fan on
