Anybody overclocked the Xbox yet?
I've seen some links on stripping the Xbox... but not really any on overclocking it.

My friend said it could be done, and he talked about removing a chip that said 400MHZ on it, well...since the Intel chip inside it 700MHZ I think he was just B.S.ing me. Even if you could over clock it, I would never attempt it. The games for it are too hardware specific for them to be able to run correctly. If you were to install Linux on it, then overclocking would be useful, but only if you could put it back to stock easily in order to play regular games.

Don't think it will happen. That Celly is already tooo "stretched" and also you should be Superman to handle the games when they 'll run faster.

I'm sure you could do the age old trick of changing the frequency control crystal on the board.

Lowered, custom skirt package, dcsports headers, intake, cheapo exhaust. 15" TSW EVO's. Otherwise everything is stock.
I wanted to do a transplant but needed to pay off some loans.
