my Geforce3 ti500

Hi i recently purchased a PNY geforce3 ti500 i tested it out on my computer and it showed only 72 fps in cs i was wondering if someone can send me a link to a site or teach me how to safely tweak my card to go more fps cuz i know of people who have my card who get 99 or 100 fps in cs thanx a lot

cs limits your framerate to 72, go into console and type fps_max 99 (thats the highest you can go with CS).

but even with it at 72 at moments it drops to around 60

well i just recently bought everything for my new system which is in my profile i'm kinda new to overclocking and tweaking what can i do to my computer to raise performance safely? any help would be appreciated

what size of cpu doyou have? cause a drop down to 60 in just CS sounds pretty sever for a ti500.

i still have to try the fps limit thing but if it dropped while at 72 i dont think it will make much difference
