Why is it when I try to copy a music cd in Nero on XP it doesn't work and I get this message; "Medium is blank or invalid. Please insert original."

I don't have this problem in w2k or 98..

How can I resolve this issue in XP?

By formatting and going to 2000 ;)

OnDborder, there is a patch for CD-burners and an Application Patch (which includes compatability for Nero) on the update site. I would suggest installing both of them.

maybe you get that message because the audio cd contains copy protection..Duh

These are audio cd's..
I like to copy favorite cd's for the truck.
Anyway, I don't have this problem in w2k or 98 with the same version of Nero..
I was wondering if there was something I didn't turn off in order to run Nero..

Nevermind, I found what I was doing that was incorrect..
I had the wrong "source" cd picked in Nero..

All is good again..
