Got one of those thirsty 172 watt TECs and need a 24 volt power supply? The Astron LS18A is rated at 28 volts and 12 amps. I just got off the phone with Astron, when throttled back to 24 volts it will still provide the 11.3 amps the pelt needs. You can check it out here http://www.astroncorp.com/w28.shtml . Ham Radio Outlet is the only dealer I know of that carries it. It’s a hefty $189! HRO’s Web Site is http://www.hamradio.com/ .

Hey Colin,
That's a good find, if I wasn't so caught up with trying to get 2 more computers up and running I would jump on it. Let me know how ya make out with the new pelt and psu. It's kinda weird how many people will ask where they can get a 24v psu and ya give em a link and they don't reply.
Good luck at the sub zero temps.

My favorite brown truck showed up today. Here’s a pic of the inside after adjusting the Astron to 24 volts.
