What is cas? I have seen cas2 and cas2.5... what does this mean? Thanks

column address strobe (cas)
Timing in clock ticks (cycles) for column timing as opposed to ras (row address strobe).

Get Cas2 as opposed to cas2.5 or 3. it is faster!
