Hi, I'm just starting to look into overclocking for the first time and I'm a little stuck.
Basically I all I want to do is increment my FSB 1Mhz at a time from 133Mhz upwards (Around 140 Mhz is apparently a recommended max for my MB)
I've installed MBProbe to monitor temperatures and have looked in my BIOS but the option to change to FSB speed is disabled. It only appears selctable when selecting the CPU speed (i.e. 800/100 or 800/133)
PC spec is Abit SE6 motherboard, Intel P3 800, 3*128MB SD-RAM, FSB 133Mhz, Hard disk running at ATA-100.
I've seen other posts where people are changing the FSb for the SE6 but I personally can't see how to do it.
I've check the SE6 manual to no avail ... perhaps I need to flash my BIOS?!?
Any help, suggestions or pointers to other resources would be appreciated.
Cheers.
