prime95 with my p4

i'm burning in my p4 with prime 95, and i just wanna make sure i'm doing it right. I installed the program, and clicked on "just torture test". I put in some user info so it'd download stuff to work on... Now it's going.

Am I doing it right? Just want to be sure.

And if there are any errors, it will report them, correct?

Yeah Prime95 isn't tough to use if you just want to do stress testing. What you have going should be fine. And if there's an error you'll know immediately.

Prime uses different FFT sizes when is does the torture tests. I've found that 384k - 512k bring-out the most bugs. With the default settings Prime may not fine an error for several hours (which does not mean your computer is less stable after 3 hours than 10 minutes, it just means that's when Prime was able to detect the problem).
