I believe you get one when you help others. It is a better way to decide if you want to believe a poster of not.

Yes it is. for the numer of stars for number of posts, see the thread "Meet our new General, Daniel" in general discussion. The complete list is in this thread.

It was posted about two weeks ago, so you have to go back a page or two.
