ASUS Flextra Speed

Does anyone know how I can disable this annoying feature? I have some 40 speed media it insists at writing at 16x, I really don't care about making coasters! Does anyone know how to disable this within Nero, Roxio, etc...??

some cd-writers don't allow you to disable this feature. try the latest version of nero in the options somewhere. hopefully you'll find it cause the asus cd-writers are the best cd-writers at the moment.
