Connecting to paypal???

Why would my browser want to connect to paypal when i browse the forums? Im using Sygate personal firewall and as soon as i go in the main lobby it wants to connect to paypal. I tried it a couple of times and i come up with the same warning, as soon as i go back to main lobby. Whats up with that?

Because there is a link on the front page for donations to Skip.

Looks like it should be placed some place else, so that people actually see it. :)

Yea i knew about a link on the front page but there's none within the forums so thats why i was wondering.

Unless you click the button it should not come up. I have heard of sites made to look like paypal to trick people into entering their password. Why don't you post the url so we can see if it is really paypal.

Cause the image is gotten from paypal's site...it's not stored on the forums server. That's why you're connecting to the paypay site. :)
