WOW, Delta's work.

I ordered a Delta 60mm fan to go with my 6035 heatsink, but toasted my t-bird (not quite sure how actually, lapped my HS and reinstalled and booted, went to bios and it was displaying 118F(usually 123-5) then blinked to ascii chars...that was it, all locked up and rebooted, nadda...). Anyway, put together my old board Tyan Trinity w/ K6/2-550 that I could never OC with my old HSF, with the Pal6035 and sunon fan I finally oc'd to 600 @ 2.6V but had idle temp of 118F, decided to the Delta "turbine" on it and drop my temps by 14°F. AAAhhhh, that sweet whine. :)

Just Curious, where you using a shim, or arctic silver?

Delta's are beautiful, but they're sooooooooo annoying. =[

Tweak, I was using Arctic Silver on the both the T-bird and K6-2. I really don't know what happened with the T-bird.
