ok guys...just moved in to my college dorm, and although that the room is pretty cool (thanks to my industrial strength fan, and i'm a little more northerly than before), my case is 45C and the cpu is 52C...

i'm pretty sure now that the problem is in the airflow of the case, because without the side panel on, the temps drop to ok (still a little warmer than i would like, but definately better than 52!)...

i would like to do a few things...either get some sunon 80mm fans (the ones that push 40 or 50cfm) and replace the stock fans with those...

i would also like to duct my cpu to the outside, so that it would be getting really fresh air instead of the crappy 45C air in the case...

which option would be the best to do? i mean i will probably end up doing both, but i definately want the case temps to be as close to room temp as possible, and i DONT want delta screamers waking up my roomate (a little problem here...)

i guess i could also reapply some AS3, but considering the difference in the case temp and the cpu temp, i dont think that's the problem...

anyway, suggestions would be appreciated, cuz i hate mbm5 shutting down the computer when it gets to 60C when i game!

Going by those temps, Sounds like you would be better off doing both. Cant hurt.
