I trying to connect my Xbox for internet play using two nic cards. One for DSL and one for the Xbox. The one for the Xbox says "A network cable is unplugged." How can I fix this? my kids are driving me crazy with this, not to mention I WANT TO PLAY HALO ONLINE!!!!

lo, i was plaing halo online one time through gamespy, kinda laggy......it worked perfectly for me, then agin i did use my router and hasd to run down stairs to the other comp about 1000 times. So if u have a router, it should b obvious wat to do, othrwise i have no idea how u would do it with 2 NICs.

It seems you need a "cross-over cable" which is different that a regular ethernet cable. I just bought a switch. the NetGear 5 port switch and another cable now I'm flying. I would have replied sooner but I have been playing Halo :D
