well for one thing with the 2200 there is a much higher chance that you will get over 2g's and with a 1600 agoia you aint guarenteed over 1700mhz (never seen a single agoia y get lower than 1700). i have a 1600+ agoia y and it wont do 1800mhz regardless of the vcore

I'm a bit over 2gigs but I see some people say 2.1 on the 1600

Like you said "they say” I find that highly doubtful that a 1600 could reach 2.1. (even with a phase-change)
I would either wait until Oct. for the new Tbreds or go with a 1600.
a 1600+@2.1ghz is definety possible lol i didnt think so either tho till i got my own agoia y week 13 right now i am running at 1.85v and 1.94ghz would be higher but my ram hit the wall oh... u might need a vmod tho i have ajustable vcore up to 2.2v i know that will get me 2ghz and i think it could go a bit more possibly 2.1ghz
ahh... n/m lol drak i see u use the same mobo as me u shouldent have a prob as long as u have good cooling

Possible I guess your right. but for me to believe I would have to be there physically. LOL One of the highest I've seen was DaGooch at Xtreme. He was around 2.063. (I think)
They seem to run into a wall after a certain voltage.
I have the 2200@2088 I was just saying its a waist to spend the money on an xp2200 when you can get an xp1600 for more than half the price with the money you save you can setup a w/c system:D I'll wait a bit befor I get a new chip again see how other people do with the new amd chips and see if they are worth the money
well i am getting some mushkin 3200 ram soon so that will give me the headroom i need to push this to 2ghz+ i will probly post my results when i hit the highest i can so keep watching the forums :)
