Thinking about picking up a cold cathode ( blue ) for my black case. I have seen a lot advertised in different price ranges.
Does any1 have a favorite brand or model that they would recommend?
I have never used a cold cathode so any advice .... good or bad is appreciated.

they are all pretty much the same, so the cheapest will
probably serve you the best.
i have used 2 Blue and 2 UV cc's from SVC. they are an excellent
company and sell at great prices, and ship very fast.

good luck!
how do 2 different colored cold cathodes look? lets say.. blue and red across from each other in the case?

The cheapest ones use poor acrylic tubes and ends, and some just shrinkwrap the inverter. PCMods kits have been around the longest, and they have the best kits. There have been CCFL shootouts, and PCMods kits always come out on top. They're only $25 too!

To the left is a blue CC, to the right a red CC.
I have a few different colors of "gel" on the acrylic tubes to add other colors to the mix.
Gel is what give tv/film lights their color.
Its just basicly a thick, colored film that doesnt melt under heat.
You cant really see it in the picture but there is red, pink, orange, purple, blue and yellow going on in there.
Have a superbright LED giving off the yellow on top.
