i have a lot of disks,
i need more performance,
i don't care data loss risc
i have no any storage controller,

my question is:
can i build any raid 4 standart ide disks without controller stuffs?

Yes, but only in windows 2000 or XP. go to the computer management screen (right click on My Computer->manage), and go to the disk manager section. right click on each disk and click upgrade to dynamic disk. then you can make partitions that can be larger than 1 disk. There is a downside though. You can't use any partitioning program other than the disk management pannel (no partition magic), and if you want to go back to having regular disks, you have to totally wipe the drives (loose all data).

my computer -> manage
and
Computer Management opens,

r u mean "Disk Management Section" section?

Maybe Control Panel ---> Administrative Tools ---> Computer Management --> Disk Management

i log administrator,
start the disk management thing,
but it isn't exist on right click menu!!! :confused:

i have
C: quantum fireball 15gb (NTFS-system)
D: maxtor 5gb (NTFS-active)

"upgrade to dynamic disk" not exist in nowhere!
what's the problem?
