They are a bit too tall. The height of those fandapters will give the fan weight a lot of leverage, which could rip the socket off the motherboard, thats bad!

However I thinks it's cool that he will be making one for a 92mm fan!

yeah, it is neat, a bit too large though, maybe if it was half the size.

They are a bit tall, but overall I like the idea, especially the thought of using a 92mm. If I had to, I could find some way to securely support it.

Since getting burned on the "36 CFM" Volcano II fan, I'm looking for some genuine ways to get enough flow through a PEP66 to maximize it's potential. (Hairdryers or their sonic equivalents are not an option.)

i thought this one was cool because it was a lot cheaper than this model:

us aussies have a lot of ingenuity, ive done a similar thing and it cost me NOTHING.
i used the bottom 4 inchs off 2 drink bottles (pick the neatest lookin ones) cut out fan holes screw 80 mm fan on inside bottom of one piece and simply push two halves together. looks trick and works well.

The best information from that article was the existance of a new Taisol heatsink the size of the CGK742092, but with a copper inlay ala pal6035.

What a cool idea...

How well do you think one of those 90mm adapters would work on a Swiftech462A?

How 'bout a picture of that setup. How much did it lower your temps?

I've got a buddy who works in the metal industry. I've been thinking about having him make an adapter for me. I'll post the drawings as soons as I get them ready and the adapter done.
